Dear Calvary Parents,

We hope everyone had a relaxing spring break.

We’re starting to plan ways to make the final months of the school year special for both the parent and teacher communities at Calvary.  Stay tuned in the coming weeks for updates from your class liaisons on ways to contribute for May’s Teacher Appreciation Week, as well as other opportunities to engage with fellow parents.

Please keep scrolling to read this month’s “Meet the Teachers” featuring the Hawk teaching team: all California natives, with some excellent book and restaurant recommendations!

As always, a big thank you to all parent volunteers – your contributions may not feel as visible this year due to precautions that keep us distanced, but they are very much appreciated!

Warmly,

Caroline & Carolyn

  • Best book you’ve read lately: Where the Crawdads Sing, by Delia Owens
  • Favorite San Francisco Restaurant: Delarosa on Chestnut

  • What do you enjoy most about working with preschoolers? I love being able to learn about each child individually throughout the school year. I really enjoy being able to familiarize myself and understand each child’s individual personality and watching their growth. I love seeing the children being able to explore different areas in the classroom that spark their curiosity, creativity and bring them joy :)
Thanks to the Hawk teachers for sharing and letting us get to know them better!
